To start an online CFD analysis of your ship hull’s, you start with creating your own account. After this you fill in the required basic data like the ship’s (project) name, length, velocity, draft and displacement values. And upload a geometry file.
Please note: the geometry you can upload, should be in IGES or Rhino format (*.igs, *.iges or *.3dm). This should be a single surface, containing half the body and no transom or deck. The deck and transom will automatically be added. Here you find an example of a correct drawing in .iges en .3dm:
When uploading please make sure that there or no two control points at the same location. This enables our meshing software to handle your geometry.
If not all data are submitted correctly, the analysis will never start.
After these data are submitted and you successfully fulfilled your payment by Ideal or creditcard, the analysis will be started in the high quality optimised FINE/Marine software. You will receive a detailed CFD analysis report within a few days.
